Beautiful

An example showing the stunning purply / red hues.

You can discover this lovely sea plant all along the Pembrokeshire coast and throughout much of the United Kingdom, typically found at depths of up to about 24 meters. Near to us it can be found at all our local beaches.

Autumnal Colours

This example is displaying stunning brown and yellow hues.

While still attached by its holdfast, it usually displays shades of purple, red, or brown, but once it becomes free-floating, it can bleach and reveal striking purple and yellow colours. We've also encountered some vibrant green Irish Moss's too.

Sun bleached

An example that has been exposed to sunlight, revealing the vivid purples and yellows.
